I like to grab my short osage grip by the throat but I seem to get alot more noise that way if I grip the bow with my heal down it is alot quieter.just wondering what you guys prefer.

I don't own one but I believe heel down is the way to shoot that grip. Don't know, that's just what I have heard, and the reason I don't own one. I love those little bows, was talking about them yesterday with a friend.

I only own one BW it is a SAG and I grab it by the throat enough firmly.

I also shoot by gripping it by the throat but with the brace set at 8" it was really loud but since I set the brace at 8 1/2" it is real quiet.it made a world of difference.

Hunterbob just today I was shooting my SAG "X" (Osage). It too was way louder than my MA2 or MA3. I changed the brace height from 8 to 8 1/2 and it took all the twang out of it. It shoots much quieter now. I may end up selling this one as I just don't need 4 BW bows. (I also have a 16 yr old LAG).
