Why is it that I keep waking up thinking about a 62" PTFV with an Asbell grip? Mid forty pounds like my PAII. Bamboo in the limbs. How are the PTFs compared to the PAs? And is it going to be another expensive Christmas for me?????

It would be better if you woke up and found it wasn't a dream lol.

I find the PTF the most attractive. Don't have one though.

I've got one coming with crossgrain and bamboo limbs. About two more weeks. Dandy Christmas present to myself, just a little bit early. Sure wish they would hurry.

It sounds like it could be an expensive Christmas, or you could start doing what I do. I don't spend change and each evening whatever I have accumulated gets tossed into a two gallon plastic bucket in the walk in closet. It is amazing how fast it adds up and along with buying and selling bows and equipment it has paid for one Widow and about to build another.

David, Thay is real close to what I have been doing. I am one or two or three sales away...! By the way, what exactly is crossgrain? And would it be an option with ironwood? And still have bamboo in the limbs? Yikes!! Ron

Mine is a graybark. The bamboo is laminated in the riser, and the limb core. Cross grain is a thin veneer that gives the limbs a camouflage appearance. I think that there is a picture of a piece of crossgrain in the photo section. They make a beautiful bow. Don't know about any other wood choices, I just heard that they are beautiful. Roger did send me a photo of a MA in crossgrain, and I decided that I had to have one. Price wasn't too bad, but I had to pay an X price. I had some cash stashed away, plus sold two cheaper bows and some arrows. That made the difference. I too, have a coin stash. Very good way to save money for toys.

Nope, no photos of crossgrain in the photo section. I can't really describe the appearance of it. Would be nice if Roger would post a pic of it.

John, I have a cross grain MAX. I tried to send you a pic from my phone but it was unsuccessful. What is your email, the one attached to your handle did not work for me. If not check out the photobucket, there are pics of my crossgrain there and an autumn oak cross grain as well.

OK, tell me where to find the photobucket, I've never been able to get there. And the e-mail is: lasryan@cableone.net
I checked my e-mail as if to send a message, and the I see the problem. Don't type in the Ryans. Just what is written above. I'll have to see if Roger can fix it I guess. I also noticed that I don't have a serial # yet for the new PTF. Hope they are still on schedule. Should be just two more weeks, I hope.
