Received my new PSRX 13 days ago and have spent a good bit of time in the woods with it.
Let me say first of all that i was a little worried about my decision to order the PSR. I knew that owners either loved or completely disliked this litte bow. With my job the test drive system is out of the question so i thought about it for better than a year before ordering. I quess what helped me make up my mind was the fact that knowing that Black Widow would not continue making a bow that was not worthy of their mame.
I have 2- psa and 2- PLX,s and the PSR just pushed the PSA'S to secound place when i grab a recurve. This little bow shoots wher i am looking and is as quiet as my PLX's.What more could a person want?
The grip is exactly like my pl's and i can go from one to the other from shot to shot. My favorite PLX is 52# @ 28 and the PSR is 48# @ 28" and they shoot the same arrow to the same point of impact.Life really is good.
Specs of my new go to bow. 58" PSRX Osage 48# @ 28" TD with beaver tail grip. Shooter

I have wanted a PSR for sometime. I started shooting with my Dad's Bear recurve that is very similar to the PSR styling. Thanks for the info!

Well dawgtrainer i tell you. A person would be hard preesed to find a better hunting recurve.IMHO I cant get the 1 to 3" groups at 25 yards yet that are fairly regular with my psa but i can keep them in a 4-5" group when i pay attention. The light weight of the psr needs more effort than my heavier psa's. My only regret about buying the psr is that i waited so long. Best to all this holidy season. Shooter

Shooter, I noticed the same thing with my PSRV until I added the gambler quiver,it increased the weight just enough to bring my accuracy about equal to my SA,but still lighter than the SA.

The PSR is a great hunting bow . I generally hunt thick cover and it is great- Can't group as well as with my PA on targets, but as a hunting bow its great- Did take me a while to get totally comfortable with it but now very confident in a hunting situation with it. The strap on great northern long bow quiver seems to stabilize it better but I don't like a bow quiver and now used to it as is, and find it a great hunting bow- the lighness of a longbow and the zap of a recurve- Its a great little hunter if you are willing to get through the learning curve.
