I'm thinkin a Trad Only shaft in 340 size. Probably gonna need 225 grains up front to weaken the spine. Should finish around 600 grains. My 2c.

My best set up for my actual SA 65# 29"is a Gold Tip 29-1/4" with 100 gr brass insert and 125 gr BH,weight tube, total weight is 680gr.It is smoking fast, but I would like to go with a heavier bow around 70# with more FOC. I love the Eritage but the 350 looks to be too weak.

CX HE-350 30" BOP 235 up front which is a 160 Snuffer and 75 gr brass insert 45 in back including lighted nock double wrap and fletching. All of my arrows work out to about 14% FOC and I have had complete pass throughs on elk with this particular arrow, so I am not all in on the EFOC sleigh ride. I have a 700 grain set up that is again 14%FOC that I shoot off a 83# widow at 8.5 gpp. It is really fast and flat and even though it is light on that bow at 8.5 gpp, it is still a very fast moving 700 grain arrow that hits like a bus, nobody has gotten out alive so far.

I bet my friend.I think that really high foc is good for light bows or really heavy boned dangerous animals. For Centuries animal are been killed with a well balanced arrow of decent weight and bow of proper poundage. But like everybody I like to play and dream new set ups,we are kids

I have no doubt that it is great for dangerous heavy boned animals as I have experimented with EFOC and single bevel heads and if I go to kill a water buffalo then I will likely be packing one. But I don't hunt Asiatic water buffalo and I don't shoot really light bows and a well balanced 15% FOC kicked in the butt by a pretty strong bow has been working well so far. But I am always trying different things with strings and arrows. I have some Centaur broadheads to try out this week, they are pretty radical looking so we'll see how they do, but the big snuffer is going to be tough to beat.

I have 2 PLX's. One at 58#, and the other at 61#. I shoot AD Traditionals with a 260 gr tip and a 100 brass insert. Total arrow weight of 725. These fly great and had nothing but great things to say about the shaft.
I havent shot Beamans, Gold Tips ect though so I cannnot comment on them. This is just what works inmy setup.
