"Steve North and Weezer"
It’s a special time of year when bow season rolls around for Steve North and his son Robert. In 1992, Steve never thought he would bow hunt again due to a fall from a treestand.
The 2007 season was especially unforgettable for the North boys for a couple of reasons. Steve got to see Robert take his biggest buck so far with his Black Widow and Steve took his own also.
Steve had watched a special buck on several hunts. He learned years ago to keep such sightings under his hat. He told a few friends about “Weezer” and Robert even got “Weezer” to call back and forth to him one evening. That’s how he got his name. One December midday hunt, Steve elected to set up at the base of a ladder stand. After seeing “Weezer”, he called to him and with a little luck was able to place a good shot on this 214 inch Midwest whitetail with his Black Widow PSA V. Steve Bostic from Wentzville, MO has captured “Weezer” and Steve North on the cover of our 2009 catalog. We wish everyone a successful season in 2009.
Thank you,
Roger Fulton, Toby Essick and John Clayman
