I'm currently using an old Deer Hide glove, and since Cnorth is asking questions I figured I'd throw one in. I like the looks of the Stick-Tite gloves from Black Widow but have no experience with them. I've got some nerve issues going on with my fingers so I prefer a little more protection than normal. I've recently put one wrap of "coaches" tape on each of my three fingers, then the glove. It's okay, but I'd like to do away with the tape. I think my fingers are "toughening" up but the nerve thing still ain't perfect. I can also use my widow three finger under tab interchangeably without accuracy issues but I prefer a glove. Any thoughts or ideas to consider?

KAZ - The Stick-Tite is a glove that will protect your fingers very well. My only dislike about it is that the finger stalls are too deep for my short fingers, causing me to want to get a deeper grip on the string so I switched back to my American Leathers glove. If I had longer fingers, I'd be using it. Donnie

I like a shooting glove that gives me some finger protection. I have used the PDQ Super Glove (with the finger overlays) for years. The Stick-tite Glove also works real well for me.

The only problem I have with it is the finger stalls stick on so tightly (by design) that I can't pull one off for dexterity, like to zip a zipper or something. The elastic back on the PDQ glove allows me to easily pull the finger stalls off when I need to without removing the whole glove.

Either one will give you more finger protection than your old deer hide glove, KAZ.

Good shooting,

Darryl

Kaz, I tried the stick tite glove, but didn't care for it finger stalls are to deep. I like the PDQ Super Glove or the American Leather Elk Big Shot glove. I shoot off of my first joint and either works for me. I like finger protection, not sore fingers.

I'm still testing the stick tite, but I can say this much already. Before this glove came out, the only shooting glove I could use was the "damascus" or other similar style gloves. I'm one of those guys who can't seem to keep the classic finger stalls with straps type glove on his fingers. The stick tite finger stalls do stay on my fingers. I wonder who first thought of this idea - somebody at Neet Archery??

Thanks for the replies gentlemen. Interestingly, all three of the types I have been considering have "surfaced".

Stick-Tite, PDQ Super Glove, and the American Leather gloves.

To those who are using the Stick-Tite, did you get the "super" model with the overlays or standard? And in general, how do I try and get the right size the first time without every trying one of these gloves on?

I like a snug fit on the fingers and I tend to grip the string slightly past/deeper than the first crease/joint, Not saying I can't grip at the joint, just tend to go a fuz deeper.

Any other ideas or comments? Thanks again to all!

I have one of the originally prototypes of the Stick Tite and it has become my primary. lareva

I love my stick tite glove. I use the standard. It gives you incredible protection. You can shoot all day. The other thing I found was I increased my arrow speed because I got a cleaner release. Like everyone else pointed out the finger stalls are too long. What I did was cut the finger stalls down with some scissors. I love the stick tite!

I'll put in another vote for the Stick-Tite, wish it had have been around sooner, std works fine for me. Best glove yet.

Hope you guys are still monitoring the thread. How to determine the best size considering sight-unseen for the Stick-Tite?

KAZ, the sizing of Neet gloves, including Stick Tite, is like most other commercially made gloves. I'd recommend trying on a few gloves at your local archery prop shop & then order the same size. If you have no pro shop handy, the sizing should be the same as the Allen shooting gloves stocked at your local Wal-Mart and K-Kart. Clint
