Has anyone noticed any performance differences between the PSA and the PMA Victor

so small that it likely could not be quantified. Personal preference.
I debated over the two and decided on a 62" PSAX and love that bow.

psa has a shorter handle section by 2 inches i think. i chose a psax in 60 inches as the widow cataloge suggested for my draw and size. shorter handle allows the limbs to be 1 inch longer each. i dont use sights so the trade off for longer smoother limbs was a no brainer!

I have shot them both and I prefer the PMA. Smoother, more forgiving and I did not notice any difference in speed. As far as weight goes, they felt the same to me. I own two 62" PMAX's and love them. But, that being said, you should shoot them both and then decide which will suit your shooting style.

I've got both, most recent purchase the PSA V 60" and I love this bow. Thought I might have a problem with the sight window difference but I "test drove" the PSA and didn't want to send it back! PMA 64" @ 61# PSA @ 56# - both smooth but the shorter PSA is nice to hunt with and I don't feel any loss of performance. I feel guilty I don't use the PMA as much...

Very little to no difference can be noted, unless you have a long draw, and then I will give the edge of comfort to shoot to the PMA.

Comfort in draw is going to be more affected by AMO length than the riser length. You'll get a slightly longer working limb on the short riser. The main difference will be in which size sight window you prefer and a little more or less mass weight in the longer or shorter riser.

David,
you are correct, and my reference was speaking directly to the current length selection difference between the PMA, and the PSA. You can't get a 64" PSA, but you can a PMA.
I would love to have a PSA in a 64".

agree Rick - the longer the better in my opinion - I would even consider a 66" PSA - but it seems that the trend now is to shorter bows.

i chose according to the latest catalog for bow length. i like the psa alot. i bet they could even shorten it another 2 inches.

I shoot the MAX because of the larger sight window. I hold the bow in a vertical position and the MAX allows me to look through the riser better. If I canted the bow like I used to, and was only concerned with hunting, I would have an SAX. I have had no trouble at all hunting from a treestand or a ground blind with my MAX. In summary, if you do not cant the bow and like targets the PMA is the way to go, If you are more interested in hunting and cant the bow, get a PSA. I can say that you would enjoy both and the difference between the two is slight.

Rick, A 64-66" PSA sounds interesting with longer working limbs for people with 30"+ draw lengths, but with my DL I wouldn't gain anything.

I have both a psa pma 62" and mid 60's in draw wgt.The pma is a much stiffer draw and the psa a bit smoother draw.I prefer the stiffer draw although I shoot both bows equally. They shoot where you look Had I known I would have gotten the psa In 60"I also have a pma in 64" that is as smooth as the psa. I just like a stiffer draw I draw a true 29.5in.
